Q: Are you an ISO Credited company, and what does this mean to me as a customer?
A: Alpha Technologies is a BS EN ISO 9001:2000 registered company. This ensures that our procedures comply to an international standard, there is full traceability.
Our quality system is periodically and systematically reviewed by management and checked by quality audits both internally and externally to the company. We aim to give our customers the best possible customer service. This assurance of quality is fundamental to the work undertaken by Alpha Technologies and all personnel at every level in the company’s structure practices the procedures of the establishment.
In essence, our customers will receive the best customer care.
Q: I have a question about a product, but I am not sure what the product is called exactly- or what the catalogue number is- what can I do?
A: Phone, fax or e-mail your nearest Alpha Technologies office or sales representative, or use our web site and use ‘key’ word search facilities on our supplier web sites.
Q: I have seen a wide range of products on the Alpha Technologies website, does Alpha Technologies produce a catalogue of all their products?
A: Yes and no, Alpha Technologies produces a general laboratory catalogue for general laboratory instruments and chemicals. We also distribute catalogues produced by our supecialist suppliers i.e. Bio-Rad, Alexis, Bio 101, Q-Biogene etc.
Each instrument manufacturer produces sales and technical literature pertinent to their range of instrumentation.
Q: How can I get price information with regard to products from Alpha Technologies?
A: Alpha Technologies has a dedicated customer service team to answer your queries. Simply contact the office nearest you for further information. If you have a catalogue number for the product you are querying this will help us answer you faster.
Q: Does Alpha Technologies provide servicing for instrumentation not distributed by them?
A: As well as supporting instrumentation/systems that we supply, we frequently support 3rd party instrumentation where local support is inadequate or non existent.
Q: Does Alpha Technologies provide service contracts for instrumentation?
A: Alpha Technologies offers full and preventative maintenance contracts on all instrumentation and systems it supplies. We also offer service contracts on a department or institute basis for all equipment.
