Bio-Rad ChemiDoc XRS+

The ChemiDoc XRS+ System is based on CCD high-resolution, high-sensitivity detection technology and modular options to accommodate a wide range of samples and support multiple detection methods including fluorescence, colorimetry, densitometry, chemiluminescence, and chemifluorescence. The system is controlled by Image Lab software to optimize imager performance for fast, integrated, and automated image capture and analysis of various samples.

The system accommodates a wide array of samples, from large handcast polyacrylamide gels to small ReadyAgarose gels and various blots. Fast electrophoresis and blotting with Mini-PROTEAN TGX Precast Gels

The new Mini-PROTEAN TGX Precast Gels not only offer long shelf life with a Laemmli buffer system, but the option to perform protein separation literally before your eyes! The unique TGX chemistry gives a very low gel resistance allowing for increased voltages without the excessive heating of the running buffer, something you cannot do with other gel chemistries. The result is the option to run your gels at up to 400 V to reduce the gel running time to just 11-14 minutes without loss of performance or excessive heating of the running buffer

The rapid electrophoresis workflow does not stop there though as Mini-PROTEAN TGX Precast gels blot in roughly half the time of a conventional Laemmli gel and coupled with Stain Free Technology you can separate, visualise, image and analyse your proteins in less than 20 minutes.
